One order to the door, the bar, security and the floor, confirmed by name.
In a packed room, calls die under the sound system and the cell signal is weak. Cover4 puts the order on every staff tag and phone at once, in every room, and shows the manager who has it.
For: owners, general managers and heads of security running one room or several.
01 The floor-ops gap
In a loud room, nobody knows who heard the call.
Too loud for radio
Calls die under the sound system. Staff cannot hear them, or answer.
Basements, no signal
Many rooms have weak cell, and the Wi-Fi is there for the tills. After an incident, nobody can show who was told what, and when.
The result
The manager learns who missed the call after the fact.
02 A fire alarm at 1 AM Illustrative
EVACUATE to every door, bar and floor team at once.
- 01
Evacuate sent
The manager arms and sends it from the control center or a lead phone.
- 02
Tags alert
Tags buzz on their own, no phone needed, so nobody has to hear a call.
- 03
One press
Each staff member answers by name.
- 04
Who is missing
The manager sees who is silent and the last node each was heard at: the bar, the door or the stage.
- 05
The record
Time-stamped, for the licensing review and the insurer.
Cover4 does not replace the fire alarm. It shows that every staff member has the order.
03 Deployment
A small kit for the building, sized by a walk through the room.
| Nodes | A few small nodes plugged in around the building. The count for your room comes from a walk test. |
|---|---|
| Network | The venue's own network is optional. Cover4 carries orders on its own radio network. |
| Phones | Staff use the phones they already carry, with no pairing. Through the SDK, Cover4 can sit inside a ticketing or staff app the venue already uses. |
| Staff tags | For door and bar staff who keep phones off, or in lockers, during a shift. |
| Control | A laptop at the office or the booth, or a lead phone. |
04 What you keep, what Cover4 adds
Your alarm and your radios stay. Cover4 shows who has the order.
You keep
- Your fire alarm, emergency lighting and evacuation plan.
- Your radios, as the voice tool for the team.
- Your sound system and its show-stop procedure.
Cover4 adds
- Stop, hold, evacuate and all-clear orders to the whole team, or to the door alone.
- Confirmation by name, with anyone not reached listed and the reason given.
- HELP with text, placed at the nearest node.
- A time-stamped, tamper-evident record the venue can produce after an incident.
05 Proof and security
Measured on the bench; a working room is the next test.
| Stage | Date | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Bench | 2026-10-25 | Two phones in airplane mode, never paired: a signed STOP acknowledged by name in 13.4 s and 18.5 s, reading and tap included (filmed). |
| Bench | 2026-11-01 | With the phone's Bluetooth off, a staff tag alerted on its own, and its signed confirmation was counted. |
| Bench | 2026-10-29 | Receive-only mode: phones receive alerts and transmit nothing until the person chooses to. |
| Not yet shown | open | A night in a working venue. |
Only you can send
Orders are signed at your control center, so nobody can fake an evacuation or an all-clear.
Staff only
Cover4 alerts staff. It does not track guests.
Your record
Kept on site and checkable without contacting us. Security details
- Bench only; not yet run in a working venue.
- On iPhone, a force-quit app or Bluetooth switched off stops phone alerts, and lock-screen delivery awaits Apple's approval for the app. The tag works on its own.
- Designed to FCC Part 15.247, not yet certified.
One night in one room.
We bring the kit, show it in the room in a few minutes, then run an evacuation drill before opening and a pilot night with your door, bar, security and floor staff. You receive the by-name record of that night.
